The Daughters of Kobani
They're known as the women who helped save their city from ISIS. In 2014, a female Kurdish militia in the town of Kobani on the Syrian-Turkish border, handed the Islamic State its first real defeat, helping drive the terrorists out of northern Syria. The story is now the subject of a new book, The Daughters of Kobani.
Helping Veterans Regain Their Independence
The point is, each and every one of us can all do something to empower Veterans and makes their lives better. It doesn’t have to be a big thing. You just have to take the time to care.
A Message From the CEO
All-Women Veteran Honor Flight
Thanks to your generosity we have met our goal of $100,000
for the all women veterans honor flight in early 2022.
THERE IS A SPECIAL NEED FOR THE CHILDREN OF THESE VETERANS
Thanks to the generosity of your donations, we were able to feed 544 families over the past three weeks.
This past weekend we saw many children and realized there is a special need. Without school these children need some puzzles, coloring books, toys and some fun treats, there is also a super need for babies, things like diapers, formula baby food would be amazing.
Help us continue this support for these veteran families, we are still collecting at my house, 3075 Kramer Ct., The Village of Pine Ridge and Brown’s Fresh Market on HWY 301 N.
YOU HAVE BEEN A TRUE BLESSING!
